Payment options

We fight for a better environment, looking for solutions to reduce waste and especially plastic. We have decided to act by giving you a cashless experience. At the festival you can pay using your credit or debit card. The cashless system only refers to bars and food stalls.

Card payments are accepted from the following cards:

  • MasterCard

In case you want to pay cash:
You have the option to pay cash by purchasing a top-up card at the Camping Shop on site. You can use this card at the bars, foodcourt, showers etc. 

How to pay at The Market of Curiosities and One-on-One sessions?
For items at The Market of Curiosities or One-on-One sessions in Spiritual Garden such as massages, readings and healings the payment options depend on each vendor or facilitator. These payments could be cash, by card or if they are willing even by bank transaction or PayPal.

Photography & Videography

The Gardens of Babylon is going to take video recordings and/or photos of the festival and its visitors.These images could be used for promotional purposes for The Gardens of Babylon. People who appear in the photos or videos are not entitled to any compensation.

For workshops that have a more private character there will be a no photo and/or video policy. This will be visual upon entering this workshop.

Consent: If you do not want your photo or video taken, you can address this immediately to the photographer and/or videographer on site. This does not apply when you are part of a larger crowd. Any questions regarding this topic can be directed to: info@thegardensofbabylon.com.

Ticket Options

Bring Your Own Tent (BYO)

This option is for the people that would like to bring their own tent. It includes one Festival Entrance Ticket including the cost for a camping spot. This price is per person, even if you share the tent with another person.

Glamping Tent Package

This option is for the people that would like to check in to a set up tent on arrival. When you purchase the Glamping Tent Package it includes all Festival Entrance Tickets per guest. Please note that a deposit is included to ensure the Glamping Tent Packages come back in good shape with no damages. This tent deposit is refunded to guests after the event. Please note that the Festival Entrance Tickets cannot be sold separately.

Camper/RV/Van

This option is for the people that would like to join with their RV. On the new location we can welcome many vehicles. Please note you are required to purchase one Camper/RV/Van Ticket per vehicle. One Camper/RV/Van Ticket includes one Festival Entrance Ticket. Each additional guest is required to purchase an RV-Guest ticket.

Hop on the Babylon Shuttle Bus from Amsterdam to the festival site and back! The shuttle departs on the following moments:

Do you sell day tickets or can I share my ticket with another person?

No, we do not sell day tickets. Your ticket cannot be shared with another person. The Gardens of Babylon Festival is to celebrate the strong connection between all family members. It is designed as a three-day experience to fully enjoy and create magic together. We encourage all visitors to attend for the full event.

Is it possible to split Festival Packages?

No. Packages can’t be split! You can only buy or resell a full package for the full amount of people stated in the description.

Are the tickets personalised?

The tickets are not personalised this year. You can enter with a barcode.

Do you sell tickets at the door?

Tickets are exclusively sold online. To purchase tickets online please go the the ticket section.

Can I come and leave or re-enter the festival as I please?

No, unless confirmed by our team before the event. You can only enter and leave the festival once. Once you’re in, you’re in, once you’re out, you’re out. To request re-entry or if you would like to sleep off site, please contact the organization by sending an email to info@thegardensofbabylon.com

The Ticketshop doesn’t accept my CreditCard, what should I do?

Due to the high level of fraud, the only payment option we can accept are cards with two-way authentication enabled. If you try to use a credit card with only cvc protection you will receive the message ‘there is a problem with your payment method’. This means that you must add your credit card for two-way authentication. Click on the name of your credit card provider below to learn more about the procedure to enable two-way authentication in order to purchase tickets.

I haven’t received my ticket after purchasing it through the official link. What can I do?

When you purchase a ticket, you might have used one of your social accounts. It is important to check all your email addresses. Also check your spam. It seems obvious but you might have forgotten. If you can’t locate your ticket two days after purchasing it, please contact: cs@twelveticketing.eu and provide the following:

  • A proof of payment
  • Your full name
  • The email address you used to purchase the tickets
I want to buy my ticket from an other source, is this possible?

Please note that in case of sold-out, it is recommended to purchase tickets through an official ticket website such as: Ticket swap. The organization is not responsible for tickets that are not purchased directly through us.

Do I have to print my ticket?

Your ticket will be scanned at the entrance of The Gardens of Babylon Festival. Please note that the venue’s network connection may be limited. Because of this, we recommend that you download the ticket to your phone or print the readable barcode.

I am not able to come after all. What do I do with my ticket?

The Gardens of Babylon does not refund purchased tickets. You are advised to resell your ticket through an official Ticket Website such as: www.ticketswap.com. People that resell tickets for a higher price than our set prices are banned from purchasing tickets and our events for a year.

  • Respect, kindness and manners.
  • Your festival admission ticket and, if purchased, an RV ticket and car park ticket (printed or downloaded).
  • A photo ID (valid forms of ID include: driving license, INE, and passport ).
  • Valid medical certificate for heavy medication, food and liquids necessary for the treatment of allergies or other diseases.
  • Portable ashtrays if you smoke; no cigarettes on the floor, we have a leave no trace policy and love to walk barefoot if possible.
  • Reusable water bottle or cup.
  • Tents resistant to different types of weather or check out our comfortable tent options.
  • Tent furniture. We encourage everyone to bring fairy lights, rugs, curtains, and other great items to create a home away from home
  •  Sleeping bag, mat and pillow.
  • Earplugs, hand sanitizer, flashlight with enough batteries.
  • Colorful clothing and costumes that express your true self. More information on clothing will follow closer to the event.
  • Comfortable clothing plus a yogamat to enjoy 90 (!!) workshops & classes from the Spiritual Program.
  • Rollerskates for the Roller Disco (we have some on site as well).
  • Hugs to share
  • Instruments for campfire jam sessions

  • Glass bottles even for water
  • Gas installations or gas cylinders
  • Electricity cables or generators
  • Hard drugs and other substances such as pills, powders, liquids, mushrooms and nitrogen oxide, also known as laughing gas
  • Sound systems, projections, moving lights, smoke machines
  • Fire equipment, flares, wood, toxic, flammable or explosive materials, nitrogen oxides, fireworks, laser pens, drones and other dangerous objects (scissors, knives, multi-tools, etc.) or weapons
  • Unauthorized professional photography, filming or video equipment. Please contact info@thegardensofbabylon.com
  • Audio recording equipment
  • Any weapon classified by law or any item that may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon is prohibited and will be confiscated and turned over to local authorities
  • Gas deodorant, gas scent, hair spray, gas perfume
  • Confetti poppers are bad for our Mother Earth.

At every event you will find The Market of Curiosities. This colourful market takes you through the incredibly creative family sellers of The Gardens of Babylon. A perfect way to add some glow to your being.

The Cosmic Glitter Tribe

We have invited the girls of The Cosmic Glitter Tribe to spread their biodegradable glitter and happy vibes to touch up every single one of you. Go and find them at the glitter station for your daily do.

Camping

Why is it so expensive to bring my Camper/RV/Van?

We want to fulfill most of your and our own dreams and wishes. The camping sites are not operating campings but created especially for our festival. We have to take the necessary precautions in order to allow Camper/RV/Vans on site, which is very expensive.

Plus this year we have electricity for each Camper/RV/Van. To make this connection please bring a 25m kabel that you can plug into a schucko or CEE 230/16 outlet. To avoid a power cut you are advised to bring energy efficient accessories.

You are encouraged to share Campers/RV/Vans with your friends to share the cost. NB: Each friend you welcome in your Camper/RV/Van is required to have an RV-guest ticket! 

Are BYO tents and Camper/RV/Van allowed on the same campground?
There will be a separate area designated exclusively for Camper/RV/Vans. You can not place a tent next to it.
Are there any Showers and do I have to pay to use them?

There will be a shower facilities to refresh. The showes are open on:

Friday from 19:00 – 23:00.
Saturday & Sunday from 07:00 – 23:00.
Monday from 07:00 – 11:00.

You are required to pay €3,- per shower session. You can pay this by card only. 

Is the Camping- and Festival Area one Area?

Yes, the festival and camping are located on the same grounds. Only the Camper area is separated from the rest. You can not bring a guest to your RV/Camper/Van without an RV/Camper/Van-guest ticket.

Am I allowed to drive my car to the entrance to drop my camping gear?
No. You will have to carry your gear from the car parking to the grounds. You can bring a hand cart in order to save your back from carrying heavy luggage.
Is the Parking far from the camping area/festival area?
The parking area is located within a 5 minute walking distance to the entrance. The camping is stretched out over two fields and so it can still a walk to your tent or place. Please note that once you enter the gates of the Festival you can’t return to your car/ parking area.
Is it safe to leave my valuable belongings in the car?

You are advised to remove everything from your car.

Can I park my car next to my Tent?

No, you may not park your car anywhere other than the parking area outside.

Can I Leave my dog in the car?

No. Cars with dogs inside will be opened with needed force and the dogs will be freed.  

Am I allowed to put my tent or Camper/Van/RV wherever I want?

For safety reasons, you are only allowed to put up your tent or park your car where you are guided too by our team. Please follow instructions.

Can I bring my own food/drinks to the camping area?

No. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the festival grounds or campsite. We are organising an intimate festival that carry heavy costs. 

We are working on an extensive and affordable menu, both healthy an nourishing. You can contact the organisation if you have allergies or a specific diet requirements here: info@thegardensofbabylon.com.

Is it allowed to make an open fire at the campsite?

No, For security reasons, it is not allowed to have open fires in the campsite.

Can I bring my own generator?
No. You are not allowed to bring your own generator.
Do I have access to electricity?

The RV/Camper/Vans have the option to connect their units to electricity. To make this connection please bring a 25m kabel that you can plug into a schucko or CEE 230/16 outlet. To avoid a power cut you are advised to bring energy efficient accessories.

Glamping or BYO Tents do not have the option to connect to electricity. You’re not allowed to bring your own generater. Please keep this in mind and choose for a foot pump or one running on batteries to inflate your mattress. To charge your phone and other electronic devices, please go to the Information desk or designated charging points. You can charge your phone for free.

Is drinking water available at the campsite?

Yes, we have drinking water taps at each toilet group. Bring an empty water bottle to fill up.

Is there a Quiet Zone at the campsite?

We cannot guarantee a quiet area at the camp, so please bring earplugs.  

Is there a curfew at the campsite?

No, but be respectful towards the people around you who might want to sleep.

Can I bring my sound system to the campsite?

Small speakers are allowed. You have to be mindful about your surroundings. We invite you at our different hubs to see the sun rise and avoid causing any disturbance on the campsite itself. 

If our team asks you to either turn down or turn off any music, you are expected to do so immediately. 

Are there shaded areas in the camping area or should I bring my own?

In case you want to bring shade structures, limit it to a structure of maximum 2×2 meters. You may be asked to remove it in case we need more space or for safety reasons. 

Can I bring my own camping shower?

No, You can not. This is to prevent flooding at the campsite.

Food & Drinks

Can I bring my own food and/or drinks?

No, it is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. We are organizing an intimate festival for only 4000 people with a spectacular program. We are working on an extensive menu, both healthy and satisfying. If you have a special medical diet and/or allergies, please contact us at info@thegardensofbabylon.com

We are improving our menu with the comments you provide us with the best gastronomic experience .

Do you have free (drinking) water stations available at the festival?

Yes, you can refill your bottle/glass with drinking water for free. We also encourage our crowd to stay hydrated during the festival. Bring your own reusable bottle to avoid excessive littering.

What am I going to eat at the Festival?

The Gardens of Babylon Festival will offer an extensive menu of vegetarian meals throughout the festival experience. We are working on a healthy, affordable and very rich menu.

What is the price of food and drinks on site?

It is not possible to answer this question at this stage. We are still working on our menu and our goal is to keep prices fair.

Medical Requirements

We will have ambulance 24/7

We love to welcome ALL the people that would like to join this festival. Please contact the organisation if you are in need of special assistance for the duration of the festival at info@thegardensofbabylon.com. We can’t make promises, but we will put in all our effort.


Is there medical care or do I have to bring everything by myself?
We will have First Aid Services available on The Gardens of Babylon Festival grounds in case of an emergency. Check your location so you can act if necessary.


Can I bring my medication?
For the treatment of allergies and/or illnesses, please follow the steps below

  • 1. Contact the festival organization at info@thegardensofbabylon.com
  • 2. Bring an official statement from a doctor or a valid medical certificate to the festival

Our Security and/or First Aid Service (EMS) will review your medication and statement.

*Without following these steps you will not be able to take your medications to the festival site.

Guidance Animals
Please contact the organisation if you are in need of guidance animals for the duration of the festival at info@thegardensofbabylon.com.
Is there a medical care or do I need to bring everything by myself?

We will have First Aid Services & Psy Care available on The Festival grounds in case of an emergency. Please check their location upon arrival so you can act accordingly if needed. Please bring all medical care that you need regularly yourself.

Can I bring my medication?
For the treatment of allergies and/or diseases, please follow the following steps* to bring your medication and/or food and fluids.
1. Contact the festival organisation at info@thegardensofbabylon.com to inform the team on your requirements.
2. Bring an official declaration of a doctor or a valid medical certificate to the festival.
Our Security and/or First Aid (EMS) will check your medication and declaration.

*Without following these steps you will not be able to bring your medications to the festival ground.

Is there Psycare on site, if I see someone in need of help?
There will be volunteers in case people are in need of Psycare support. These people are not trained or qualified. This is a simply to calm down in case it’s needed. The Psycare team can decide to take the person in need to First Aid instead.
